2011 SEASON WRAP UP FOR PROJECT STi:
2ND PLACE ALL WHEEL DRIVE TURBO CHALLENGE OPEN MODIFIED CLASS
5TH POSITION OUTRIGHT SA TIME ATTACK SERIES

Fantastic year in Project STi running it in the hard fought Mitsubishi GSR EVO Club All Wheel Drive turbo challenge, in the Open Modified division and only being beaten by one of our own GTRs for first place. Could have pushed a little harder in the end, but damaged the soft set of slicks for the battle at Mount Gambier going too hard and getting too sideways in the burnout and mowing down the metal archway at the end of the pad. Epic fail that one

Still the most consistent Subaru in the series all year, with the highest finishing position and for that we have something to be really proud of in our first season campaign with the car. Plenty more to come with some development going on over the Xmas break that will see the car back fresh and new for next season.

THANKS to my sponsors -
WILLALL RACING - the best in engnine management tuning and track setup
WHITELINE SUSPENSION - great bush!
PROCESS WEST - Aussie technology and great results
PILATUS - The best corporate aircraft in Australia IS the PC12

Current dyno sheet attached (showing difference between Perrin 3 inch inlet and Process West cooler versus the stock bits inlet and cooler both on the GTX3071R turbo)

Would be close to 420-440awhp or so on a hub dyno etc.

The turbo is the business
Delivers around 55 - 60awkw over stock at the same boost level

Pretty decent improvements from just a PW cooler and Perrin intake pipe!! Especially when the STi coolers have proved to be very competent on previous models!

Its easy to sit here and waffle on about how good this or that is when it comes to tuning cars. First you need to know the vested interest in selling the product at hand etc. Since I have none in this, here you can check out the datalog of the run. The yellow line is IAT
