So hows your Alloy China spec radiator doing?
I know a few of you have been running these for a while now... Have you had any failures? or are they still going strong? thinking of putting one in the RS Liberty as it will hopefully be getting out onto the track. Are they more effective on the track than stock ones?

Curious to know, was looking at putting a $600 Ally koyo in soon, but didn't want to skimp on a yum cha brand for such an important component.

Ive got an ally koyo one. Put it in about 17,000kms ago
Have had no problems, exept when i first put it in i had to get custom hoses because its a fair bit thicker. I think i put a thread up, but i cant find it on my phone lol. I split the stock rad. , hence replacement. Looks great, and runs great, keeps it cooler on zigzags n all the hills roads, havent tracked it yet. |

did you notice any difference in running temp on the Power FC after installing it?

no major differences. maybe a few degrees during normal driving. A working thermostat should keep the temps roughly the same as an OEM rad.
Its only when I give it an extended thrashing that I notice a difference. OEM rad would start to get pretty warm. Up around the 95-100C area. But alloy rad keeps things staying around 88-92.
