keen to see what the smaller ones yield.. more after responds/torque rather than peak power tho 300hp would be nice

What boost was this running at 22PSI?

You are welcome to take mine for a spin if you wish, 1.4bar is the boost.

The dyno doesn't show how it is on the road.

cheers

Yep, my mate is on my case, he mentioned it a few times to Sean when I picked the car up tonight

Problem is you lose aircon on the GC8's....

just my opinion, but i would be trying to find an STI spec C intercooler, the one with the sectioned end tank on the inlet side...

i managed to get a decent result with that out of my 02 Sti when i had it a few years back... At that time both Nick and Sean said as far as top mounts go the sti pec was the beez kneez...

Bit of info on these turbos.
There is going to be 3 types available

1.5 XTR
2.5XTR
3.0 XTR

these rear housings ARE NOT a standard VF36 rear housing like the TD series turbos.
Completely new design from the ground up. Bigger as well

the Turbos are ALL 100% GARRETT CORE.. Not TD based at all. the front housing is 100% made by Blouch

the 1.5 and the 2.5 are a GT3071 Garrett CORE with a custom turbine wheel and custom Billet Wheel.. just the 1.5 uses a smaller rear turbine wheel
the 3.0 uses are GT3076 CORE with a custom Turbine and custom Billet wheel..

So basically the Blouch 1.5XTR is essentially a GT2871R, with the 8cm housing being equivalent to the 0.64 garret housing.
I would think that this combo would be reasonable choice on a 2L, given the GT2871R's response on an SR20 Nissan. Most of my Nissan SR20 tunes with the 0.86 housing(10cm equivalent) had full boost by 3600rpm ish.

56.5mm Turbine Wheel
71mm Compressor wheel
or there bouts?

AM keen to test out once the tax money and few other things free up
