Worn key?

Curious on your procedure... Why are you putting a key in the fob? It should be:

1. Press unlock door button
2. Enter car
3. Put key in ignition barrel
4. Turn key
5. Maybe some knight rider/brant stuff
6. Turn car on
7. Dial up 7,000rpm
8. Side step clutch
9. Profit
