lag can be mostly tuned out. smaller diameter piping will help too. ie: 2' piping.
tmic vs fmic is a never ending debate. lets not get started.

If you like the throttle response you have now, you'll stick to a tmic unless you go reverse manifold setup and short plumbing lengths - otherwise prepare yourself for a lesson in lag threshold.

I think you are all power freaks.

Certainly get the intake and exhaust and fuel pump done only and a re-tune. Throttle response with a relatively cheap power upgrade.

Do the bloody handling peoples. I happen to like G-Forces around corners and finding out what the limit of adhesion is. You have bloody sticky tires and trick diffs, dial out some understeer, corner flatter and have the car ride smoother by selected suspension mods.

DRIVER TRAINING

Minimum:
Anti-lift Kit
Front and rear sway bars.
Camber bolts in the rear.
Front Strut Brace.
Group 4 Coilovers with front Noltec Adjustable Strut tops. (really Serious)

DRIVER TRAINING

And most importantly a BLOODY GOOD WHEEL ALIGNMENT.
Go and talk to John at Wheels World or Wilkinsons.

It more fun seeing your V8 mates shit scared going flat out into a corner, hard braking and a bloody fast corner speed, compressed against the side of the seat, than just going fast in a dressed up rice rocket in a straight line. You did not buy a dinasour V8 or a young dinasour Turbo Ford to just go fast in a straight line, anyone can do that.

Sticky 4wd handling is what its all about.
Drifting different story.....

One of the best mods I ever did to my car (and previous cars) is a lightened flywheel and upgrading the clutch to a puck or cushioned button....
Amazing how it transforms your car... You can launch it like satan himself, and flat change far far easier, making it a far more rewarding vehicle to drive hard and extract the most from it
