Do the 04 Wrx have the same stud pattern as the STI? 5x100? or are the wrx's different and 5x114.3?

STI and WRX are 5x100.

From 2005 STi onwards, the STi's changed to 5x114.3, WRX's remain the same.

Gay, 5x114.3 are easier to get nice rims for :P
Also, upgrading suspension, i know all about coilovers, but nothing about struts, if i were to go for an upgraded shocks setup, what would i be looking at?

If anyone has any info or links to products, would be awesomly appreciated
For the moment, base it on an 04 WRX
Would like a bit stiffer than stock, but not as hard as coilovers set nearly to max on damping

cheers

STi Pink Struts plus some progressive rate springs (H&R, Eibach, etc) is the way to go.

And there are plenty of great wheels available in 5x100 mate.

Have a look at the forum vendors section of PWRX for product suppliers.

Will do! Thanks

STi Pink struts, are these STI stock struts? can these be had brand new? Any sort of pricing? Of not brand new, probably only after new struts. Would KYB make good struts for the wrx?
Also, im also a bit dumb when it comes to springs, what are progressive rate springs? do they have to be WRX specific springs?

also, in regards to the pink struts you mentioned, are WRX and STI struts interchangable with the same year?

Thanks heaps

is this anything like what i should be looking at? https://www.subarugenuineparts.com/p...roducts_id=626

Dave's car is definitely nice, but, i have also decided that i would like the Blue colour on a Subi, and will never be on a track, only the street, so, i am actually probably going to go a wrx, quite possibly an 04. Save a bit of money, get the colour and shape i really like, and then the little bit of money saved, I'd like to get some decent entry level suspension, maybe a boost controller and a tune
