Currently smashing out close to 1500kms a week, my blocks all gravel/rock and bush, I leave for work before sunrise.

I need a diesel, I need low range, I'd prefer to kiss Skippy with a bull bar. Unfortunately Betty isn't cutting the mustard no more.

Howdy All
Have been test driving like mad.
The turbo is noticeably different between the 08 and the 09.
I'm leaning towards the 09/10 as the styling is much more subdued, and passable as a company car rather than a performance car.
I'm lusting over the 2011 tho.
Just waiting for the right 09/10 to show up.
There was one for sale in Melville. All good but the exhaust was way too loud.
I'd need serious mods to make it doable.
Grrrrr.
Getting there slowly, but enjoying the ride.
VERY good to have all your opinions ahead of time.
Thanks again guys/gals.

Do you know how the exhaust was modified?
If just a cat back exhaust, you should be able to grab some ones left overs or even do a swap with them on the same day?

Glad to head the preference of the 09+ over the 08

Hiya Soksta
It looked like the standard sort of muffler across the back end.
Also looked like a custom 3 inch system all the way up to the front.
Not sure if it was cat-back or turbo back.
Just way too loud to pass as a work vehicle.

Locate a stock exhaust or get a second muffler put in the system. Not huge $'s

Unless the vehicle has a TBE installed with a tune to suit.
Changing that back to stock or something quieter would still have some cost associated with it.

Still less than a grand, which when forking out 20-30k is pretty minimal in my eyes. JMO.
