Default One squirt of the throttle is all it takes

Was driving down a mates property last night and saw a nice gentle right hand bend on the gravel road (driveway). Gave my car just a little squirt to encourage the ass end to slide around a bit (i never flog my car, just for a moment i thought i was colin mcrae lol).
Ass end came out, and i kept it there, it was nice and it was fun. What I didnt see was a drop in the road. The car hit the drop and unsettled it. The car bounced and i was pointing the other way. It all happened to quick and I went down the embankment. My 'was' absolutely showroom pristine version 6 STi is no longer pristine.
Just shows..... it only takes just ONE silly mistake for things to go horrifically wrong.

Before......

After

It doesnt look like much, but I hit hard on an embankment underneith the front of the car. The radiator has been lifted up and the whole front end is no longer in alignment.

Think twice before squeezing the throttle lol

Unlucky... Damage doesn't look that bad but still sucks. Should have seen what I did to my first wrx driving like a spanner... Only takes a split second to run out of talent and bin it... Hopefully you can get yours repaired relatively cheaply

Spewing dude!

I may have - once a long time ago - planted my Rx7 in someone's rose garden due to being caught out by a camber change in a road mid corner and a locked diff....

Good luck with getting her sorted.

Resale value gone, entertainment value still unlimited. Mines copped a few "bumps" and I was gutted as well. Still love my car the same in its slightly bunky form
