Sound like inexperience mate, have you had your licence for a year? Driver training days and hours on the road is the best way to learn! But until you do take it easy as without having that experience your car is a deadly weapon!

sounds more like the suspension settings are out, even when my rex was RWD it wouldn't step out like that unless commanded too, im guessing there is a massive toe setting problem..

get it booked into wheels world, explain to them what its doing, and they will fix it for you, 9244 2277

driver training won't make a pooftenth of difference in this matter, its purely a mechanical issue by sounds of it..

add to that just burying the gas in these things is not the best way to pull them out of a slide, unless thats how you initiated it to begin with, if you try gasing it mid slide it will just tank slap on you, if you do try and rescue it, it needs to be a very gradual pressing of the gas, just enuf to pull it forward and maintain control, not something i recomend doing if you are in experienced and on a road, if it spins, foot on brake, foot on clutch, and rip up the hand brake, it'll stop in a flash

You cant be serious mate! If you want to do 360s into lightposts then do this but I would take my foot off the accelerator and try and steer yourself in the right diection until your car regains control.

as chad pointed out, ive put rex's into more stupid moments than you could imagine, this will stop a car dead..

to steal a phrase used by brian golenitich and EX mc instructor, when in a spin both feet in..

add to that, taking the foot off when the car is ALREADY sliding, just make it spin even more, its called lift off over steer, and if its already over steering, it'll just make it ten times worse..

but by all means, keep driving like that, natural selection will get you eventually

yeah it is, it sends the abs into a mental retardation moment, ive had it set the brakes off so bad they stop doing anything and just let the car roll, its normal, but you can drive around it

I'd say a alignment problem.

At that speed, in the roundabout situation you described, all I get in the wet is front end push unless I pop the clutch with full lock and 5000rpm, then it will oversteer.......
