Just a question.. Iknow you said you got new tyres.. but did you actually get DECENT ones?

My old GC8 had tyres that looked fairly new.... plenty of tread... but they must have been absolutely shithouse (they were on car when I got it) ... as the car woud slide all the time when going around corners in the wet... used to scare the crap out of me.... I kept thinking "this is AWD.. this isnt meant to happen" ... hahah I had to end up going around corners in 2nd at very very low speeds to avoid slide-age.

New car, awesome tyres.. = fuck all slipperyness = much happier Tara on wet roads !

So just make sure its not something like that before forking out on all your suspension gizmos... ! coz if you got all the gear but shit tyres.. I would have thought it still wouldnt help your problem (anyone feel free to correct me if im wrong here)

if its a stock subaru wrx suspension and setup, then it being an understeering PIG is normal. Like me, you will probably feel that seeing john and wheels world is the best thing you have ever done mod wise.... it was my first mod, before the go faster bits i wanted to stop needing brakes for corners straight line performance is for falcodoor types anyway, the wrx is all about corners baby!

Front mount = loss of throttle response unless done properly with lots of $$$$

Decent tyres + minor suspension mods + PROPER WHEEL ALIGNMENT = higher corner speed / higher lateral G forces =

Go buy a HSVTyphoonXR6Munro'O'DunnoDoor if you want straight line speed
