HAHAHAHA
it was done by a certified mechanic at a proper workshop along with the other mods. so again, go try it on the "my06 sti" before u talk shit.
might work on other models though i dont know about that but since DeanMarine has a 06 as well i was telling him it wont work.

May we ask which workshop WAI?

Please.. speak out.. very interested.

You mention "other mods" , what other mods were they... a concrete slab perhaps?

Simply... Airbox has filter which runs to a 50 - 60mm inlet tube... tube fills with air.. air gets sucked into turbine intake tube... into turbo... compressed.. sent to intercooler.. cooled.. sucked into the throttle body... then into the manifold... mixed with fuel..

I fail too see how exactly it could do that...

Please enlighen us.

Running no airfilter, your car will still start.

Disconnecting AFM, your car will STILL start.

Simple as that. If your car wont start, something else is wrong.

If i brought over a K&N Filter.. would you be willing to show us or even allow us to try this?

Ok.. im in the process of obtaining some parts for this trial..

Will be K&N "POD" Filter , anything else i need to know about you;re car first of all?

Whats on the intake at this point in time?

Factory Airbox or Aftermarket pod filter?

apexi power intake
the K&N filter i used was new not s/h. so maybe abit oilier.
car striped atm (parts for sale). be ready in 2 weeks.
