fuck that blows.. strange how it fluctuates so much between ppl

Just Car sux, after having my car insured with them for two years, they decided to increase my premium, lower my agreed value, and decide not to cover half the mods which they had covered for the previous years. Told em to cram it and reinsured with shannons at half the price, increased agreed value, all mods insured, and a lower baic excess!

Same issue with JCI for myself. Premium went up to 1550 from 1490, value down from 38000 to 35000. Shannons quoted me $4000 because of the "level" of mods i have, dont know wtf they were smoking. Tried calling back another time but because they already have a quote for me in the system they wont budge on it. Even though im now 25.

So for someone with 1 point, no susp. no disq, no accidents, full no claims bonus and im still getting rooted by insurance. woo fkin hoo!

thats a pretty good effort.. but i guess after 5 years its not required to disclose previous history... ..gotta love the system

Hmm, I'm 22 (23 this yr) I have a 2006 Subaru Impreza Hatch
I've accumulated lots of points over the years altho currently I only have 4 against my name (all from the same speeding fine) which was 2 years ago. Have only had 1 since then, but a $50 only. Had an "at fault" crash, which wasn't my fault, but it was, if u get me. I have $3000 worth of stereo shit insured and rims, but have a category 4 alarm, and I pay $65.76 a month thru the RAC

Also worked my way back up to 50% N.C.B

Age Excess of $450
Inexp. Driver Excess of $300

wat i dont get is i hear so many people getting insurance for ewither 19/18 yr olds under $2500 for 99 98 models mods or no mods..
i rang every one, cheapest was just car at $2550 or something similar 98 wrx i am 18 going on 19. can anyone assure me i am in the right price bracket here??
