SGIO wanted $148pm to insure my bug for $13,800 (max value) for my renewal.
Called up RAC, told them about the mods and power increase. Ended up getting a quote that costs me $90pm with my car valued at $19,300 with $500 excess.
SGIO can suck it.

Tried AAMI, wouldn't let me insure my car for anything more than $16 800. Currently insured for $27 000 with RAC for less than the quote from AAMI.

RAC is better and cheaper than any other when it comes to WRXs.

Also wrong.

Insurance premiums are dependant on too many variables for anyone to say that any
particular insurance company is definitely the best.

RAC want $620ish a year from me to insure my car for a max of $11,700.
Shannons insure it for $650 for agreed $22,000 and cover every mod + my racing gear (helmet etc).
AAMI wouldnt quote it.

Shannons tend it give the best COVERAGE for cars like ours.
