Cool

Hey champ, be assured that I utilise all the above tricks when the bays are availed. The biggest issue is having to park:

1. In Claremont where we have female tank drivers with no care or ability.
2. Claremont's aging population who don't care in their aging BM or Merc.
3. No where bar where I park for 3 hour parking that isn't an outside dirt carpark.

Sadly, when the building I manage has a vacancy, I get a private bay but it backs onto a 1 hour carpark making the chance of damage 3 times greater than the 3 hour one.

The damage is obviously someone reversing out from the bay behind me and scraping my bumper in the "turn". Most of the damage has washed and hand buffed out bar one section approximately 7cm long dead centre in width and depth on the rear bumper.

Just where I'll notice it ;(

EDIT - Grumpy, if I get to the two bumper stage I'll just buy a bunky and drive that to work.

Jnr, thanks for the kind wishes.

What's most disappointing is the lack of respect. I'd never hit another car and not leave details.

i hate claremont for that.
i have witnessed 2 crashes from the above age group of people just completely missing/judging the swing of their bm/merc tank and just parking up & walking away with no number / care. i can only hope that they hit some other old persons car & through the process of elimination they will take each other out in their carelessness.

sorry to hear though dude. it sucks when that shit happens.
im lucky if my work car cops and i see it , i get it sorted with them or just park them in until i get details. harsh i know but ill be fucked if jerks get away with their incompetance.

Time for a small in car video camera Andrew then that way you
can get evidence on who does it and get your insurance to chase
them up for costs.

You can get really small ones which record to SD card etc.

Any talk about fuel consumption is good, so others can have a reference

I'm averaging 11L/100km atm, and I'll say its 80/20 between "S" and "S#".
