Welcome Moe

Nice White Pignose you have.

Its costy to change a N/A spec Impreza to a Turbocharged one.

Plus the WRX and STI in the Pignose have a 2.5L engine and not a 2.0L

Rims and a Cat back Exhaust to bring out the Boxer Rumble will be your best bet.

Welcome mate

I'm sure most people here will be telling you don't bother with putting the turbo on a N/A engine, too much of a hassle. Exhaust...yes! Rims....yes! enjoy your stay and remember that the search tool is your friend.

Welcome matey,

Nice car.
and as said before you will hear alot of people agree that turboing a N/A is alot of effort and money. i looking into it on my old GC8 and yeah it was cheaper to sell it and get a wrx later.

but cat back exhaust n some nice rims never goes astray
enjoy.

Steve

not worth turboing an n/a engine, you have to change so many things. You're better off doing a complete swap, including driveline etc. But unless you plan on doing it yourself, best bet would be to sell the impreza and buy an earlier model wrx or STi

Yes it can he done but by the time you've converted it with everything
you need you probably could have bought an 04/05 WRX.

I'd just put some springs and cat back exhaust on until you
save enough money to buy a real wrx or STi even.

Oh and welcome mate, I hope you enjoy your stay!!!

Hey dude, Welcome.

I wont repeat what everyone else has said but they are right. Rims, Lowered, Exhaust FTW. If you do it properly you can keep with wrx's through the corners... just forget about straight line speed

Nice Car! Oh and dont put a 3" exhaust on it.. 2.25" will Keep it responsive and not overly loud

Only the non JDM ones have the 2.5lt and there is nothing stopping
anybody from sticking a 2.0lt turbo into an 06/07, I'd prefer to stick
a 2.0lt in than a 2.5lt of fail!

If you were to go 2.0lt just stick an ADM 02-05 207 in instead of the
JDM one as it has forgies in it!
