Curious to know the outcomes as to whether radiant heat is in fact causing the issues with the clutch.

defiantly radiant heat caused clutch issues. When Prototype and I were doing rallysprint in the blue car it did 8 runs straight. By the end of run 7 and the start of my lap 8 there was no clutch left. Let it cool down over night and bled it, was fine.

TGV - When you gutted them, what was the dealio on the ECU side of things? It will CEL i know, but heard limp mode etc.
May need to keep the old ones plugged in and just hang 'em in the bay until the autronic? Looking at a set of the Turn in Concept composite TGVs.

The alternative is to leave the rod and motors in but obviously the rod will impede flow a tiny bit. Are you planning on doing them yourself Rich? I read that it's a 5-6 hour job... that's a lot of $'s in labour for a small gain. I was looking at them recently too as I'm putting in a new turbo with my tax return.

I'm pulling the manifold anyway - got leaky fuel lines so they are being replaced with braided teflon lined ones. That was the main reason to pull the inlet manifold.
This was an onflow effect of that .. , as the TGV's sit there obviously, so figured may as well do it before it all goes back on. ALSO, the benefit of these is that they act kind of like phenolic spacers, and keep the heat out of the inlet manifold, to a degree, excuse the pun. Make sense? These are the codes which throw: P2004 INTAKE MANIFOLD RUNNER CONTROL STUCK OPEN (BANK 1) P2005 INTAKE MANIFOLD RUNNER CONTROL STUCK OPEN (BANK 2) P2006 INTAKE MANIFOLD RUNNER CONTROL STUCK CLOSED (BANK 1) P2007 INTAKE MANIFOLD RUNNER CONTROL STUCK CLOSED (BANK2) P2008 INTAKE MANIFOLD RUNNER CONTROL CIRCUIT / OPEN (BANK 1) P2009 INTAKE MANIFOLD RUNNER CONTROL CIRCUIT LOW (BANK 1) P2011 INTAKE MANIFOLD RUNNER CONTROL CIRCUIT / OPEN (BANK 2) P2012 INTAKE MANIFOLD RUNNER CONTROL CIRCUIT LOW (BANK 2) P2016 INTAKE MANIFOLD RUNNER POSITION SENSOR / SWITCH CIRCUIT LOW (BANK 1) P2017 INTAKE MANIFOLD RUNNER POSITION SENSOR / SWITCH CIRCUIT HIGH (BANK 1) P2021 INTAKE MANIFOLD RUNNER POSITION SENSOR / SWITCH CIRCUIT LOW (BANK 2) P2022 INTAKE MANIFOLD RUNNER POSITION SENSOR / SWITCH CIRCUIT HIGH (BANK 2)
