hey hey guys how have we all been doing?
Well I blew my engine not long after I posted the thread. This is how it all happened.
This car previously had a Motec M800 ECU and was quite popular in the drag scene. The previous owner blew his engine. Sold the car to this second hand dealer which just 'patched' the car up and sold to me. It ran oversized CP forged pistons (which i destroyed). The workshop who rebuilt the motor obviously didn't do the tolerances right, when the engine was opened up there was scratch marks all over the bore where the piston skirts was rubbing. Also they probably tightened everything up with an air tool. Cos it took the boys almost 3 days to disassemble the internals, they told me that they were scared to strip the bolts off so i told them to go easy.

Anyways when I bought it, the motec was replaced with the greddy emanage and tuned on RACE GAS! The second hand dealer never told me this so i went along and filled it up with 95 Octane and KABOOM!

About 2 months ago I got the engine shipped to ASG and thats when the fun began, Nick told me that the block is no longer salvageable so I went ahead and got a new block.

Now im getting a fully built block with:
Cosworth 2.2L stroker kit
Cosworth S2 AVCS cams
Cosworth valvesprings and retainers
Cosworth head gasket
Cosworth bearings
Rotated Garrett GT3076R with Anti-Surge
40mm Blitz EWG and screamer pipe!
Vipec V44 stand alone ECU
Water/Meth injection (still deciding)

Thats it so far. would you guys go for meth injection or not? any reason why/why not?
Aiming for 400whp!
