If the key did not match the transponder ecm. Then the immo led on the cluster should be on when the key is turned and the mil should flash a code 53?

If not... GX, I would appreciate your offer.

That sounds about right. When I had transponder issues on my first conversion, I think it was a code 53 that I got. Mine would start but then die after about 5 seconds.

yeah. you see I dont even get that far. That is why I suspect the ECM as there is no power to the main relay, fuel relay or ignitor.

Will a manual ECM start the engine?

Looking at wiring diagrams it looks like there is only one wire that is junctioned outside the ECM on the fuel management track. I guess is has something to do controlling fuel shut off when changing through gears.

RJD you and your Mrs should definitely become friends with Spektre and KAMImages.

Send us a pm as to where abouts you are and I'll throw it in the car.

Also he is right, me and the mrs do pretty much everything together on the car and yes here may be the odd disagreement but working it out together is golden!

Hey Huggy_b.

Have got now where with it as I need to get the motor running first. Did as much as I could last year. And can only get it booked in at a auto electrician this coming Monday when they open for 2013 again. So it is at a stand still till she is running. So as soon as that is done I will start updating/ :-)
