Last week I managed to source some genuine bride rails second hand of gumtree to mount up to my bride low max seats (retained my custom re-trimmed black leather door cards and rear seats), I also had a photoshoot from RSK Photography. Pics attached.

Future plans are:

- Install Eibach rear camber bolts and get a wheel alignment
- Install new chrome bezel HID projectors
- Thinking about re-painting the centre console of the dash in a gunmetal colour
- Buy and install gas bonnet struts
- Buy and install GD altenator cover
- Buy and install 03 - 04 sti steering wheel (centre silver section vinyl dyed black)

I am also saving up my pennies very slowly (being a student) to get this new engine/ turbo setup in, this is the plan:

2006 Sti EJ257 Block with:
Torque plate bore and hone
Sleeved Block
Cosworth forged pistons, pins and circlips
Cosworth forged rods and bolts
Cosworth piston rings
Cosworth metal head gaskets
Cosworth big end bearings
Cosworth main bearings
Cpsworth Oil Baffle Plate

Mated to Version 5 non-avcs heads:
Cosworth 278 Camshafts
Cosworth valve spring set
ARP head studs
Full Gasket kit
New timing belt & pulleys
Water pump
Thermostat


Injector Dynamics - ID1300 Injectors ( Still yet to purchase)
02 sti red intake manifold
Custom TGV deletes
GD coil on plug conversion
Greddy TD06-25G Twist mount turbo kit (with external wastegate & screamer, dump pipe and K&N filter)
GFB Deceptor Pro BOV (Adjustable in cabin)
Hybrid HDI intercooler with custom piping
GT Spec Headers
Hyperflow Oil catch can
Greddy dump pipe to ultrex catback exhaust

Also swapping my Apexi Power-FC out for an autronics plug n play ecu, with antilag and map sensor instead of afm.

Will also look at getting the 10k rpm sti cluster matched to the kms and installed with the DCCD showing on the dash, and hopefully some sti genome gauges in a centre dash pod as I will be losing my power fc hand controller

Is there anything im missing?

I cant wait to get it all together, Im also looking at running e85 and getting to the track as often as possible

Looking good, good work, Rhys. U might wanna look into gtx 3078/3071. Billet wheel, antisurge and ballbearing worth every pennine.

Oil pump, standalone boost controller, fuel pressre regulator, fuel rail, radiator on ur list too?

Not sure how good is autronic's resolution, so cant comment on that.

But generally speaking, standalone is faster and more precise. especially with twin solenoid controller, such as HKS evc and Blitz SBC type r, there is no boost spiking and boost is holding steady whether is a cold night or high speed pull.

At end of the day comes down to tuner and what they want to do/ recommend for set up

Looking mint Rhys. Curious why you're going for a ej257... more torques? If I had an older WRX I would probably build a 207 that will happily rev its tits off.

Had access to a wrecked piggy STI if I remember correctly. Hence the full swap/choice I suppose. Or is there more to it?

Yer probs. Hence the 25g turbz and explains the build to hold it together properly on the 2.5L

For a 2L with the same mods, you would want to reduce that exhaust housing, or keep it for power and aim for an 8500rpm redline perhaps.

E85 either way if practical.

Sweet setup though. Would hate to get a yellow with all those mods so keep it streetable and sensible on the exterior and as low key as possible would be my advice.

Autronic has plenty of resolution and control for boost better running off the ecu . As it can reduce boost and timing when detecting a problem to save your motor . A stand alone controller is great but won't reduce boost relative to , knock, intake temp , exhaust temp , AFR etc .

Spending all that money on a Cosworth build won't mean shit without safeguards. The more power the more money , I'd be having good safeguards .
