I rear through that whole thread, seemed like the engine didn't like running in general..
After it broke on my mate johnny. He ended you getting it all rebuilt again, upgraded turbo etc, and was running 440hp and 509nm on the all star garage dyno. Nearly a year later and compression etc was still perfect

still trying to gather information, to see what is the best options to do the conversion.. Got a great reply from all star garage & I will post my findings here, in case somebody is doing a similar conversion in future.
Basically told me that the easiest option is to use my heads on the 257 bottom end. I will need -camshafts - front mount - headers - injectors - z32 afm as a minimum to reach the 350hp mark. -Was told that i will likely need a bigger turbo, but my current one made 365hp before and I like the fact that the turbo is restricting the power and not the bottom end. But i'm still decieding, maybe a td06-20g instead, depending on the cost of swapping over. - Need to reuse my inlet manifold as the newer one has DBW throttle body with no provision for idle control. This means a cosworth inlet manifold will be for sale soon. - Will be probably be approaching the end of the Power FC's capability, & we would recommend changing to a MAP sensored ECU, however it still can be done. Does anybody have any input on ^ I have no idea what the difference is - Gearbox and diff and tailshaft should bolt straight in. To keep the 5x100 I will need to install 01-04 sti rear hubs, to suit the 06 sti R180 rear axles. So now wondering if I purchase the 01 -04 sti rear hubs and keep my current coilovers and PCD etc. or do I do the 06 sti front and rear hubs 5x114.3 conversion and then get new coilovers and rims etc.
