Hi Guys
Sorry but I don't want to comment about the rebuild or why. Sorry if it sounds like I am being a prick.
All you need to now is that this pig will be rebuilt and it will be bigger, better and stronger than before.
I have left it all up to Nic at ASG, Cosworth and obviously my bank account to sort it.
Just hope it gets done by Christmas apparently gudgeon pins are in short supply from cossy.
SPOOLED, Tiigga and drewgong like this.

Starting at around 8.5K. To be honest I know they are putting all Cosworth internals in it but that's about it Hahahahaha I just gave them a horsepower figure and said build me one to suit. But my budget is limited so we are doing as much as we can so that later all we need is turbo and aftercooler. I was hoping no more engine out Mods although cashy did mention it may need more head work and cams so see how it goes.

I am driving it at the moment but I have also got shares in Mobil 1 synthetic.

8.5-9K for a Cosworth build, what did you have done?

Nice rim choice and that kit in the pics you posted looks the goods.

10K all up M8, all internals replaced, new clutch, etc. Not pulling high numbers but nothing a turbo and front mount wont fix. Plus still only running low boost.

MB Battles are the rims, just tracking a guy down in the US to purchase them for me. And I am lucky enough to know the leer jet pilot for Visy So he might be able to squish them in on a flight. If not I have other means so its just a matter of time.

im very interested in numbers and cost too mate, my 257 will prob be in for the same deal by the end of next year. dont know whats happened to yours but i think mine is doing the whole 1 cylinder dying.. not dead or close but consumes oil on hard boost. was going to blow it up first but leaning towards what youve done and just getting the internals replaced and a safe tune. what is your power target for the motor? ill be aiming 300-320hp atw, with as much response and torque as possible
