Hey peoplez,

I have just purchased a car after a long awaited time not owning one.
My new pride and joy is a 1992 Subaru Liberty RS Turbo.
Im completely new to these cars, as im a previous Skyline builder, with build like 2x 89' R31 daily's and a 84' R30 MR 432kw@rw driftcar.

The modifications the Liberty has are minimal from what i can see/feel, but are;
TD05H Turbo
Manual BC set @ 10psi
Heavy Duty Clutch
FMIC setup
Turbosmart Veeport II BOV
3" Cat Back Exhaust to Cannon (might change setup)

It was stock looking with the FMIC hiding behind the front bar, until i got a saw to it :-)
Major question is, is it actually illegal for the number plateto be set on the LH side of the front bar?

My other-half has told me that its not to be a project car, but it will be hahaha

Future mods that I'm thinking of doing after reading a few posts/threads, will be;

Either Semi-Parallel or Full-Parallel fuel rail setup
HDi EBC Gauge
HDi Water Temp, Oil Press, Volt Gauges
Either an Apexi Power FC or another piggyback type controller (not sure which one would suit EJ20s)
SARD Fuel Press. Reg
Bosch 044 Fuel Pump
Better leads
HEC716 coils

Proper tune / Dyno run

Im quite impressed in how quick these cars are, only changing at about 5500rpm, ive hit ~130kms/hr and only just changing into 4th.

Resprayed it black 2-tone bottom and bonnet, custom made eyelids.

Cheers Shaun, not sure, feels quick when she kicks full boost at 3500rpm. I need to fix the oil leak from the valve covers then upgrade the ignition system and fuel pump n regulator before i up the boost plus i need to get it tuned as i dont think it got done when the td05 got put on.

My first Subi was a 92 Rs too.

Unless that motor has been built:
Stick with the Coil on Plug coils - they work well and cause no issues.
Don't waste your money paralleling the fuel rails unless you plan for big power.
Up grade the fuel pump - leave the stock reg in place
Go a PowerFC - piggy backs suck.
Jezza and amtrapid like this.
