Everyone focuses all this attention on engine mods and dyno sheets . Better quality tyres are the best bang for buck mod you can do .

I completely agree with you, don't get me wrong, however jacklaos was talking about spending Achilles kind of money on his tyres, which is roughly $500 for all 4 corners, where as you can cover maybe 1 and a half corners with re003s for the price, which would probably be overkill for a street driven car.

And the current buy 3 get 1 free deal seems very selective, only on their budget range it appears.

Hi everyone,

Thanks again for all advice given,

with regards to tyres I've decided to go with the RE003's
just waiting on my wheels to arrive.

Probably the wrong place to post but ill ask anyway...

So i bought a turbo smart MBC thinking it would be a piece of cake to install, but i have learnt otherwise....

After installing the MBC on various boost lines I never got a proper response from my boost gauge so i mustve been installing it incorrectly. if someone could please shed some light on where the MBC is supposed to be installed keeping in mind i am aware of the restrictor pill the compressor housing and 't' piece. (is there a 'wrong way' for the restrictor pill?)

so after several failed attempts i put all the components back together as stock as if it wasn't modified.

however..... I seem to be achieving higher boost of 13/14psi whereas prior to fiddling with the lines i had a stable 11psi

would hope someone could shed some light on why this might be happening?

cheers
