Purchased them from Marty @ FHRX over east. Just did lots of research, looked at response graphs and read reviews and bought on reputation without listening to them. Risky, but damn rewarding. At one stage Alberts in Rockingham were stocking the entry level HAT speakers but not sure they do now, or if they're still around.

Fhrx Studios Pty Ltd - Audio / Visual Connoisseurs. Free Shipping Australia Wide.

Marty is stupidly helpful and stocks so many brands that you just can't get locally. If you need a new head unit or sourcing anything else locally, go see Fabian at Westside in Cannington. Tell him you're from Perth-WRX and he'll look after you. Alternatively, Audio Precision has made lots of people happy from all reports. They have a couple of stores around the place. I picked up my Arc Audio Black sub from their Myaree store. Was actually surprised they stocked them.

Ahh cool, thanks for the tips

I did go and have a look at Audio Precision in Cockburn before I got a real car. Quite helpful, in answering questions about differnt ideas I had, and after seeing some A pillar pods that they had made, I decided that it could actually be worth persuing that idea.

I went through Audio Precision Myaree for the set up in my GC8. They were really helpful and did a great job, happily uninstalled it all for me when I traded the Gc8 in as well with only minimal notice.

There is an eBay seller in Germany who makes these as well for a handful of different brands of tweeters. Heaps cheaper than fibreglass pods and arguably better looking!

They are pretty!

Are these the same?
Shok Pods! « Shok Industries

I wonder how excessive a midrange billet pod would look haha.

may just end up scrapping the whole 3 way idea and just go 2 way as its easier to install.

Yep, mine are from Shok. The German seller has a wider range of supported brands to choose from. I'll post the link if I find it
