Newbie
Gday fellas
I bought a 97 wrx last year , it had plenty kms on it but pretty clean and cheap enough . Just a bit of a history with my wrx journey . I've had all the standard problems with it so far but something about it keeps me spending the money on it . Not long ago the gearbox went and so I got a 5speed 4:44 put in with new clutch and rear main seal. The airflow meter went on it so I did the second hand thing and ended up buying genuine and it runs good now . Bought new spark plugs and leads when I first got it . She drives nice now but I really want to do an engine up or do the engine that is in it now . But I'm not sure which way to go . So there's my intro thanks for reading |

Welcome mate. Awesome WRX.
What supporting mods have been done to the engine to warrant a rebuild (?) or just getting a little old and tired?

Hi there
No mods to the engine it's old that's all and I know nothing about what's been done to it mechanically , how regular it's been serviced etc. it doesn't seem to miss a beat though and drives nice so it will Probobly last a while . I've spent a bit on it just to keep it running Probobly as much as it's worth so I've Definitly committed to keeping it . |
