As for the PIN code on the new WRX's, both our MY08 and MY11 didn't have it enabled by the dealers. I'm of the opinion, if they are willing to break into your house to get the keys, then they are just as likely to come back for the PIN. Not worth the risk.
Don't think they would get far in my house with 2 German Shepherds If they don't kill them, they should make enough noise for me to wake up!

Just to clarify this, i have a MY13 & one of the first things i did was mount the keypad under the vent with some double sided adhesive. Im still waiting to get it activated, I've already set my own key (read their book for anybody who wants to set there own key), but need to get it so i have to enter the key to start the engine. People need to set these keypads, if there scared of abo fucks coming back for the pin,do what I've done (buy several knives, baseball bats and hammers, and show them how much the car is worth in pain) i sure as hell love them people
