Then surely house insurance would cover it? You can't help if someone holds you up for your keys or just takes them, you didn't hand then to them therefore it's still a crime, and that's not covered thats rough ;(

Cant claim car related stuff on house ins, maybe for the keys...

Car insurance will generally cover the loss of car when the keys are stolen but in this situation there's more too it, hence them denying the claim.

It's still pretty bullshit though, I would be insanely pissed off if some douchebag stole my car and wrote it off because they got bored of their normal goon drinking lifestyle and wanted some "fun".

Hoping some justice comes from this, whoever stole it should be made to pay damages including the damage done to the SUV that went through the wall as a result. But from hearing the reports/seeing the posts on FB and what not I would assume that the culprit's centrelink income won't cover it.

Really shits me how insurance companies can do this, the owner has done nothing wrong and yet they turn around with this crap.
Lying to an insurance company would be classed as something wrong yeah?

None of us have any clue as to why it is not covered.

Hey people, i seen this in rockingham driving completely recklessly, and i was so annoyed with myself for not reporting it, i couldnt quite catch the number plate, when it drove past me it was doing about 150kmph and then vanished into baldivis. So fu**** angry coz i seen at least 6 or 7 aboriginals inside, sitting on each others laps driving like a complete **** head. Nearly hitting traffic, clearly no caring about other people and there surroundings, even nearly took out the back of a bus right in front of me. I hope they died when they rolled it!!!
