I so need new tyres, it felt like I was aquaplaning through the whole run everytime

It is nice to be up the list, but in reality, it doesnt mean a scrap of difference. The track is exactly the same. The time between runs is exactly the same. Being 5 - 10 - 20 places down the list means nothing. It may have even been in your favour to be behind the pulsar. If you had of caught him, you would have got a free run.

Maybe it wasnt quite what you said, but the way you said it.

Yeah I guess so.... was all for fun though, wasn't a big deal at all that murray was having some fun.

Btw we never complained about being down the list, we were ok with doing re-runs like he said would happen and went to line up but just before our first run he came up to us in the car and switched us around, when he saw what we complained about.

Besides the tyres how did it feel out on the track with the new engine/tune RJ?

This is the second time I've done this layout and 3rd round I dropped 11 seconds off my best from the club sprint round in June .....


New softer compound tyres is def a must just slippin and sliding everywhere currently hehe good fun tho

Felt great...was very responsive and had a lot of go...
Couldn't use that extra speed around corners and through the chicane re-tyres, but was good to get a feel for how the new engine holds up

p.s: I really have to get used to the new power band of that turbo/tune,so different to launch and took me a while to figure out the best gear to use coming out of the tight corners etc.... new power band aka new learning curve again.

Third gear for every corner out there RJ including the hairpin if you have got the tyres for it.

Cheers for that tip after last round managed to keep it in 3rd most of the time with the new alignment it made it much better to turn in ... Times certainly reflected keeping the speed up
