You got me thinking about this handbrake thing. I looked back through my runs and tried to time it to see which is quicker. It was pretty much exactly the same from what I can tell. Ive compared my last 3 runs for the day and put it up as a video. Basically i started timing from when the car began moving, and stopped timing at the transition to the next skid pan. I used the moment the grass came in line with the dash board as my reference. Far from scientific, but Ok for a quick comparison.

Ive listed the time taken for each turn, and the speed as seen on the speedo display as the car crossed my reference line.
