uses iGo8 software and with limited use so far I am very impressed..will give you maps with your recorded parameters along all points which is quite useful I think. Will be giving it some good use for the cruise coming up this weekend.

I've only used the GPS for a short time today and it uses the same software that comes on the latest Eclipse GPS Head Units. The interface looks good and is easy to use. It seems to be very accurate also (makes sense considering the device started it's life as a GPS unit)

have not used the tom tom but my wife as a gav man its way better than that I think.

I've only used TomTom on my iPhone and it's as good as if not better than that.
It's way better than my old Navman software though!

I don't think it will work with an aftermarket ecu (EcuDET/Reverso is OK) unless you can plug it directly into the ECU rather than OBD port (for data logging, etc).
