Initial impressions after installing this past weekend.
Boy there is a ton of information easily assessable to me now. Intake temps fluctuate considerably even on cool days. Heat is not your friend if you want to make power in a tmic Liberty. My defi gauges read exactly as my gauges on the ecudatascan. Peak boost is 18.27 psi No knock indications at all. All parameters are being measured now and max / min alarms have been set. iGo8 software is freakin awesome to use. Still playing around with the connectivity thru the fm transmitter to my mac though. I wish I would have had this thing for the past dyno day and some dry ice. Thumbs up so far so now for relocation to the cubby hole to replace the defi's which will go up for sale shortly I think.

That intake air temperature reading, my understanding was that that was taken from the MAF sensor. Which is before the intercooler.

^ that's what I thought jungleboy, but the intake air temp does not match the outside air temp gauge on the dash... When I stop at a long set of lights, the intake air temp shoots up 15 degrees but the outside air temp doesn't change. They'd both be sucking in the same air right?
And on a cold night, the intake air temp is always higher than the outside air temp. After seeing this, I assumed that the intake air temp must be post intercooler.

wow this seems almost too good to be true...(except it being AU$550), does the OBDII plug/port get in the way of ur legs whilst ur driving tho? mine is pretty close to the position where my acc leg would be? it doesn't get knocked out or anything?

On my car the port is pretty much above the brake pedal.
The plug sits a fair bit out of the lower dash but it didn't get in the way for me.

GB price was $429 delivered and that has to be the bargain of the year of me. The iGo8 GPS software is worth that in its own right I think. Cable is no issue at all but I will be getting a longer cable to facilitate the installation in its perm home in my car.

The GB has ended now and the price is now $525 I believe. The distributor in Oz for this product would however look at doing a better price if you could org a GB of say 10 people.
