So what's the verdict Master D?

List of everything that torque can show (and it's accuracy) for the wrx would be nice.

Think i'll order one tomorrow

Ok. So the car has only moved twice since i posted last.... Havent had much of a chance to test the app fully. The bluetooth module works a treat.
The app itself is quite good.
I have set up a bunch of random dashboards just to see which points work well.
Fav dashboard so far has AFR, throttle position & engine load. Works quite well.

For anyone who wants to see it in action ill be at vastese saturday morning for a little while (around 7ish)

Honestly though, for less than $30, you cant go wrong with it.

yep says it reads them, gives you the code id and clears them

this alone is worth the price if you are modding your subaru boys and girls

Hey guys. I'm just looking at this app and I want to get the OBD2 scanner, but not sure which one will work on MY99. Has anyone had any experience with bluetooth OBD2 scanners on MY99? I know that some people had issues with OBD2 scanners on these WRXs in general (not just bluetooth), something to do with the SSM or something similar. Thanks heaps in advance,

Adi

Default The Verdict

So i have now had a chance to moniter and make some cool desktops & etc on the app.

There is Heaps of graphable points i can pull out of the ecu ( 02 STi) and even more that it cant read. im imagining that newer cars will have more points avalible to log.

So far i have:
Speed - GPS
Speed - ECU
Throttle Position (%)
MAF Sensor (G/s)
Volts (V)
Timing Advance
Intake Temps (degC)
Acceleration as +/- G ( Both as a graph and dial)
Coolant Temp (Degc)
Boost
1/4 mile Tracker
Engine Load (%)
Fuel Status - Ie On Load or Cruise.
AFR - As a Graph.

Theres a few more like Short term injector duty, Long term injector duty etc but these ones have caught my interest most.

Theres a bit of lag from the unit - approx 2sec - from what i can tell but im scanning all graphed points displayed in 1 sec intervals.

the app has a Map view, which it tracks your route since the app is launched and youve selected map view. ie i drove from success to denmark and virtually had a perfect route of where id been.

It clears CEL's apparently - i havent had one to try it one but im sure it works a treat.

i new plug-in i got yesterday is track recorder - it overlays selected data over the top of your active video recording. havent tried this yet but planning on giving it a whirl soon.

another plugin i got is a separate graphing. purely you select which points you want to select and it will graph them, i think it will also store the trended data from the ecu that youve graphed. once again havent tried it but ill give it a go soon..

So you can probably tell im stoked with this App.
I hasnt skipped a beat yet and there is always bits and pieces being added for smoothness.

decide what you will but its been a well spent $25 for me.
