only 207 to run forgies (officially) was the bug AFAIK...

The special thing about the buyeye ej207 was that it ran forgies along with a semi closed deck block, whereas the ej207 models after that were open deck AFAIK.

Jesus where do some of you get your info? , all GD STi blocks are semi closed

thats because manufacturers quote at the flywheel, whereas a hub dyno numbers are from the hubs..

2.5 if ur going to build the engine.. otherwise stick with the 207 as it can happily make 250 kw atw.. most ppl would be happy with that..

yep my 207 was running hard'core at one stage, 1.8 bar boost, and pulled some nice numbers at one stage.
