You trial at a discount because you are the one putting up a car to use. Some trials are not always successful, things can go wrong when testing new equipement.

so can someone tell me what a larger compressor wheel will do and what a larger exhaust wheel will do with regard to comparing for example a TD05-16G and a TD05-20G?

As I understand it 05 vs 06 is about the potential to efficiently pump more boost whereas a 16G vs a 20G...well would the 16 spool quicker? So if they are both 05's and can produce the same boost why would you want a larger exhaust wheel?*

* this theory could be puss, I'm open for ideas.....

My Forced Performance 20G cost me $1770, but add 10% if they pick your package up in customs for GST, which may or may not happen....

Its a TD06H-20G. Has a TD06H front wheel and cover, and a TD05H rear housing, and wheel. Same rear end as the Green, but the green has a Garrett front cover and wheel as opposed to the Mitsubishi TD06 front end.

Spools about 5-600rpm sooner than the Green, makes less power on race fuel than the green...comparable power up to around 1.6 bar on pump fuel, then the Green eclipses it above that because of the larger, more efficient front end.

For another 70 US, you can have the rear housing ported...this sort of sits the turbo in between the standard 20G and the Green performance wise, with the same spool up as the standard 20G.

Its oil cooled and plain bearing, meaning its piss easy to rebuild. Water cooling is optional on all models, but I didnt think it was worth the expense.

Dark blue is my old VF22, light blue is the 20G....similar spool up, 20kw more atw, on less boost....cant complain really

As far as I can ascertain, a larger exhaust housing will spool "slightly" worse than a smaller one, but it'll also hold boost better, as it'll flow more at higher rpm and boost levels.

see I think I want something that spools about 500rpm sooner than yours.

I must say though, it's good how you got a bigger turbo and it spools the same as the 22...Nice.

making me consider the TD05-18G I think....

should have some more info by the end of this week.. a few delta dash days will help!

ive had the gtps01 in my 05sti for a few days now.. making good power.. spool up is the same as the 35 but holds 1.4bar till 7500rpm.. just trying to get boost smooth.. lane's trying hard for me

clutch was fine(9000km's on it) with the 35 for nuts and burnouts.. first launch with the gt pump and clutch started slipping straight away.. just on takeoff and gearchange.. looks like clutch time..

ill speak to ross at autoclutch but any rough ideas on what id need for about 220kwatw? i saw this thread http://www.perth-wrx.com/vb/mechanicals/701-clutch-blow-off-valve-help.html and wanted to know your thoughts on the exedy 9 puk clutches on daily drivers?

joe, have u got a tricked up clutch? anyone else? let me know what u like and dont like.. and dont forget ive got the 6spd so its gunna hold up right?
