I got 275hp (209kw) at the hubs with serious intake temp issues. (ambient to 90C in about 3 dyno pulls.

Shifted my peak power and peak torque figures down 500rpm across the board (peak torque @ 4000rpm, peak power @ 5000rpm) compared to VF30.

Mine you it is not a direct comparison as I also have a new sti motor with AVCS, and I'm sure with the intake issues still to be sorted there is another 25hp there.

It should have at least another 30-40 in it...I made 290+ at the hubs with my VF22 and Link, you'd at least expect 300, especially with an EJ207..

There is more in it, but the interheater wasnt helping matters much.

a bit? yes. lots of money spent for not much.

But, spend a bit more and get a-lot more......

There are things I'm not happy with at the moment due to the interheater and the tune, so "I" need to change a few things to give tuners the best chance to get the most out of the car.

Really still a work in progress, I was expecting too much I think, I thought you could change a motor, turbo and ecu all in 4 months and expect it to set records. It doesnt happen all on the first tune.

dont forget that a few hours dyno time isnt nearly enough to get a car perfect, i'd hate to think how many hours on the dyno and road tuning my car has had lately... but in the end the more resolution you pump into the map, the better the car behaves.

also consider the basics such as pipe bends, pipe diameters, intercooler type, intake restrictions, any bent/damaged blades on the turbo, up-pipe diameters, exhaust header joins leaking, clogged cat converters, collapsed mufflers, leaky wastegates, bov return leaking... theres a fair bit to investigate why its running so hot and over worked

This is true, it takes time.

Looking forward to seeing your car with 320+ at the hubs Pete
