yeah, it was a built motor. I followed the builders instructions. Oil consumption was negligable. Blow-by was pretty much non-existant. would drain the catch can about every 6 months, had mostly condensation in it with some oil, probably 100mls?

Was up to 25,000kms on the engine, running 1.5 to 1.7bar all the time.

I am picking up a new truck in Melbourne in a couple of weeks and driving it back cause I have never had the pleasure.

New truck / nullabor run on the rev limiter for the win.

over 3200km in 3 days. That will run the puppy in.

Honestly I think listening to builder/mechanics advice is overrated. ESPECIALLY if they are offering a warrenty.

P.S. It isn't actually a bad trip with cruise and an OK stereo ( Large collection of music to )

Watch the roo's early in the morning once you hit WA. Pretty clear till you hit the boarder though.
