Default DIY Swaybar install??

Looks like the suspension mod time has come sooner than I expected!

Looking at getting this whiteline gear for starters

BSF33 - Front 22m swaybar
BSR36XZ - Rear 24mm swaybar Adjustable
KBR20-24 - Rear Heavy duty swaybar mount kit
KLC26 - Rear Sway bar link kit h/d Alloy
KLC39 - Front Swaybar Link Kit spherical Rod end
KCA414 - Rear Camber adj bolt kit

Now, how much of this could I install myself with half a brain and a socket/spanner set? I'd like to do it myself but I'd rather pay someone to do it if its a bit tricky! obviously I'd leave the camber bolts for suspension installer to fit and do a wheel alignment etc.

Cheers!

Rear is dead easy to install. I did mine on the ground without even jacking the car up.

Awesome thanks

I suppose at the end of the day I'll look at it when I get them and decide what I can do myself.

Just thought id see if anyone had successfully fitted all that kinda gear themselves with relative ease!

I did the rear myself and also without jacking up the car! Can vouch that it was easy as.

Did some research on the internet forums on how to do it and you're set!

Not sure about the front ones as they were already installed when I bought the car.

when i did mine i remember reading that you have to have the car on the ground. or up on car ramps.. if you dont it puts some 'stress' on the bar making it harder to install/uninstall.. its just a matter of a few bolts and replace took me bout an hour to do rear HD mounts, end links and new bar
fronts a bit longer tho and a bit more tricky

even better look at this link

Cool thanks!! Nice link!

Also, I'm a bit worried about the extra weight of all this gear.

I gather from the link that the car has an OEM rear swaybar, but does it have an OEM front one aswell? And are the whiteline items lighter than the stock ones?

I like the punch the car has now and dont want to dull it down by adding more weight.

Cheers guys

U won't notice it in a striat line, but u will notice it turning cause you will be able to take corners faster .

Weight isn't really and issue with newer cars due to them being heavy pigs already, also 2.5 is gonna help.

Righto cheers Andy

Yeah will definately be going ahead with them then. Except leaning towards adjustable front 22mm bar now instead of fixed.

Cheers guys

Another Q.

Am I going over the top with the spherical rod end link kit?

I had a look on the whiteline catalogue and it doesn't look like they have the alloy link kit anymore to suit the OEM balljoint type so it look slike the only option is to ge the spherical rod end kit.
