Sad fact is you can have both with the right combo...I am not saying 220hp is enough, but trade of a little of that top end and you can have a much nicer total package = Better daily driver. Look at Jamie L's VF34 V6STi, Floody's 06 Ra, not huge power for drag racing but bloody quick around a track.

Btw my kittens favourite food is "Dyno Queen" buckle up again folks, I am poking the sacred cows again

I'd rather have a 'dog' than a 'kitten'.

Boost is only a gear change away.

Daily driver's? My STI is my daily, it drives fine in everyday traffic.

If you are into AHG, sure I'd recommend a smaller turbo such as the VF series for response.
But if you're into Wanneroo or Kwinana then lag means almost nothing.

Response on the street where your more than likely speeding, is it really worth it?

Or some punch on the track with some sack at the end?

All depends on what the car is for.

I'd hardly call any of the cars here Dyno Queen cars!

Response is great, but I'd still prefer a kick in the nuts and fly past someone once their power becomes stagnant at 5k.

You will have more powahs soon anyways Morgan, and I know you want some more lag!

We can always do Wanneroo/AHG/Kwinana and see where the real results are.

Not keen on having your td04 2k-5k power band anymore?

I thought your point was td04>td06?

Interested to see the results of the 2.2 against 2.5 with td05.

2.2 is what i'm leaning towards when it comes to new engine time also!

ps. Did those headers come out ok? I was a bit worried about those spiders :|

GTPSO1 aka TD05H with 7cm2 housing and "big" 16G compressor wheel.
Tapering a little bit of boost at the top end to ensure it stays within its CFM envelope. 2.1xL EJ20G Stroker, Wisco psitons, Manley Rods, Kelford Cams and head stuff, Motec, Ivan Albins 1-5, Kaaz Rear Lsd, G4 Suspension, 12mm oil pump, 675 cc DW Injectors = and some new 2spot 290mm rear brakes from Santa.
