Basically if it's an option not to be limmited to the 400hp on here Option 2 then that would be preferable of course (in case i inherit lots of money later and go further haha). So is that stroker kit compatible with a sleeved 205? (here's where the technical stuff confuses me). I'm assuming I'd save money with the sleeving now as to pulling the engine appart later down the track a second time to get it done. |

I'd go with a ej207, tuna netted over 400hp with it un-opened and that was with a vf35/34. also had some nice figures when he fitted the gt35.

In the States they have plenty of EJ22 blocks that they would use to create a 2.3,4 or 2.5L package, personally I do not like the EJ257 blocks. IMHO they need to be sleeved before use on any hipo application. Why don't you work out a deal with this guy...he knows the $$ pain a hipo EJ257 package entails: http://www.rexnet.com.au/forum/index...pic=82424&st=0 See one of Tuna's 2L dyno plots below, overlayed is my old TD04. Guess who chops who from 2500rpm to 4250rpm Boost threshold can easily create a "Dog" as I mentioned before. Trying to get a balance that's affordable, fast and reliable is never going to be easy.

410hp > 220hp all day, every day, hyundai.
I'd rather have a 'dog' than a 'kitten'. Boost is only a gear change away.

morgan all stace has to do is keep the revs at around 4-4.5000rpm and hell chop u every time...
Just because u have a bigger turbo dosent mean its going to less driveable. It just means u have to have a different driving style to keep it in the right power graph.. And a GT35R is a much larger turbo than a 3037 which is essentially a variant of the GT30R. so u will find it much more responsive on a 2ltr. I however would go for a 2.2 min buildup but its hard to get a factory closed decked block these days, meaning u will have to close deck it urself.. If ur going to do that then u might as well go for a sleeved 2.5 block, essentially the same costing... more displcement and it can still rev out to around 8-8500rpm with the right cams...
