Well strangely enough, it was far more simple than I really thought. I decided to take a look under the bonnet, and the metal clip that holds the Z32 AFM plug in place was loose, and causing it to loosen itself, so fixed the clip and fixed the problem!

A happy ending...that's what we like to hear. Now name the prick who would not sell you the sock
