When it wont start is the engine ecu light on or has this been made redundant due to the M800?

If the engine light is not on then Brant is where I'd start (the battery in it).

The fact that it sometimes primes and sometimes doesnt may rule out a fuel blockage.

Had the same problem

check your pumps In the boot or where ever there mounted and go over the wiring..

If Its not working while the key Is on thats your problem...

check fuel pressure at your rails.

Also had this problem, CEL code came up as the fuel pump controller. Had Nic at ASG fix it up for me, something to do with dodgey wiring.

thanks bois..

ive got the car booked in to fix the alarm so will see if that solves the problem. Its only intermittent which might mean its not fuel pump related. or that the wires are dodgy...

Okay had the alarm system re-done and to no avail problem still occurs.

I tried to turn the igntion and there is no priming at all until randomly after 10-15 mins it will work..

The car runs fine once its running, so does this lead it to be a problem with teh wiring and not the actualy fuel pumps??

Both are wired into the one fuel pump relay so maybe its overloading the system (even though this setup has been running like this for 4 yrs without issue until now)???

Ummm i have a problem where i turn the key and it sounds like it half primes. I have been told that it could be because i possibly dont have a return line which should of been installed when the bosch 910 was installed and that there could be air left in the lines after it 'thinks' it has fully primed and thus she doesnt fire first go.

Not sure if this simular situation would shut you down whilst driving. Hasnt done so to me.

I'm sure it happened to Wai car as well with the twin pump setup, they had to rewire it as something was getting overloaded with that setup.
