Your pump controller still may not like the two pumps. I'd be looking at that if your relay is fine.

Secondary pumps should really be run off a separate fuse or relay, rather than the same one.

If it's an intermittent problem most likely culprit is usually an alarm system. Would get that checked out before tearing everything else apart.

Jonno ive booked it in to subaru to get the re-wire done. so will see if that helps..

Personally i'd get this problem looked at ASAP

I'd imagine it could get abit dangerous losing all power ie: lights, power steering, brake booster? in the middle of traffic... could certainly cause an accident.

Do you lose absolutely everything on the cut out ?

Tino, i just had to replace the Brandt module in the wifes bug, was doing a very similar thing to yours except it would restart straight away.
