But its totally your choice.... this is just an internet forum remember
That said i got 227hp out of my td04 with a fmic with a little bit more lag. I painted mine black to retain the attention it got from the ol five oh. Agreed, it is your choice.

Had the td04 @ 17.5psi and aparently could of gone more. If you setup for a bigger turbo now, it will save you doing it in the future. I knew i was going for a roller bearing 34 so i went fmic and still have the option to go bigger now without changing my cooler. It is a Hybrid FMIC that i got off ebay (yes ebay ) for $700 to my door step. Good kit reccommend it.

^^ The only thing i don't like about your cooler Eric is the extensive pipe-work, but i guess all up it doesn't make a *great* deal of difference compared to other FMIC's.

I wonder what the difference is between your Hybrid kit, and a APS DRxx kit, which is what i would have to go to if i went FMIC, because i have a APS CAI.

also you have to keep in mind what turbo you are going to put on down the track...if you are going the 'normal' road and putting on a VF34 then the STi top mount will be better because it wont lag as much... but if your gona be chasing big numbers than the fmic would be better imo
