Default advice needed

i did a search and found some answers but not everything i want.. I have a MY06 2.5L wrx with: 3" TBE, Cold air intake, fuel pump and bov.. now i want to get a different intercooler. What should i go for? FMIC or TMIC. I'm planning to run more boost so up to about 17psi, will see how much the little td04 handles and i wont be changing the turbo anytime soon so will a fmic produce heaps of lag for me?

if you are not changing the turbo then a FMIC will be a waste of time and money.

Get yourself a STI TMIC and waterspray.

STi TMIC if you can source one - Average around the $450 mark.

Process West sells a TMIC as well.

They are the 2 most common options.

Don't forget to get a quality splitter if you decide to go the TMIC choice.

Mate with the TD04 i'd personally go for the STi TMIC + Waterspray route...

Keep the response that we've all grown to love, and the police can't see a nice STi TMIC as they drive past can they!!... IMO FMIC's can attract attention from the boys in blue from time to time....

But its totally your choice.... this is just an internet forum remember
