Are you planning to get it tuned as well? If so then my suggestion is Allstar Garage in Malaga.

yeah diy doesnt take that long the hardest part is undoing the bolts near the turbo the rest is a piece of cake ..otherwise take it to any workshop should cost around the $100-$150 mark was what i was quoted would take them about 2 hours to do ..

watch out for boost spiking then mate, recommend getting tune for TBE if you want to get nice safe afr's and maximum Kw/Nm from the TBe.

Did the search but no luck on what I need so thought this will do.
I wanna get my hands on a 3 inch TBE for my car. Running gear is pretty much stock ADM MY98. I know the bugeye and onwards can be verso'd, and the 99/00 cant. I have heard whispers that the earlier models are more friendly to mods, and will self learn/ compensate. Dont have alot of cash to throw at it at this stage so ecu swap is out for now. Will it cause any damage if I get a TBE on it or am I best to leave it as is? Getting a bit sick of how quite the thing is.

An aftermarket 3" exhaust can be put onto a '98 or '03 without tune and the car will run safely. Of course, a retune or replacement ECU will allow you to get more benefit than just an exhaust alone, but obviously many people are on a tight budget.
It's only MY06 onwards that absolutely require a retune when an exhaust is fitted.
