Gee I think they haven't been too bad in terms of braking abilities etc.. Will have to try out some new pads and see the difference since you made such an aggressive statement

They are just a crap pad .. Dustiest pads i have ever ever ever seen. I have some in my rear calipers, and the rear wheels come up dustier than the fronts !!

There are much better pads out there than Ultimates, steer clear. I think they are just a badly designed pad which wear rather quick also.

Dust means they are working...

I'd be scared of a pad that didn't dust up.

you shud still be able to get ur rotors skimmed, even if they are a softer material, which they probly shudnt be, but ne way u just need to increase the RPM on the lathe.
u will need to check the thickness of them first though.

The Hawk pads which i have for sale at the moment were half decent for a performance type pad, and had a tiny bit of dust, maybe about 5% compared to a Ultimate, and these were on the fronts!

A little bit of dust is acceptable yeah, but going from clean to dusty to the max in 5 days is just rediculous!!

Mine go from clean to black in a matter of 5 hours. And will out brake a set of brembos.

Just saying dustless pads are for non-performance applications. A proper pad will make a hell of a lot of dust.

I take it that's just for one stop? I was able to fade my 4Pots after 4 or 5 hard stops. I took the Brembo's for a run the other day and they were endless, where the 4pots would suffer.
