fair enough i still never said they dont work... although can anyone tell me why subaru makes completely new injectors for an extra 30odd kw from wrx to sti instead of decapping them?? we all know manufacturers love to save money!

06 - 07 have vf43.

If your looking to get over 200kw cheaply i'd get this:
http://www.perth-wrx.com/vb/sale/21102-fs-ihi-vf43-turbo.html
and this:
http://www.rexnet.com.au/forum/index...howtopic=76077
and a retune. Job done
And as BXT has already said your injectors are 550's and more than
capable for your goals.

Its about tolerance.

Even "STI" Pinks are not bang on 500cc you'll see variances in them also.

I'd say that the decapped injectors are _BY FAR_ easier to tune then the SARD equivalents. If you are so concerned about "spray pattern" and "Atomization" then maybe you should look at other injector brands.. you'll notice they too have big gaping holes similar to decapped injectors.

Many owners on the forums use decapped injectors with _EXCELLENT_ results, perfect idle and in almost all cases excellent economy. I use decapped injectors (yup, i admit it) and i easily see over 400km a tank.

A few other members actually see up to 500+ km in some cases.

However, its your money and your beliefs so spend it the way you want too.

Yes, with a P20 bolted onto the back of it

Seriously, It may but more importantly the VF34 will spool slightly quicker than the 43...but on a 2.5 it would hardly be noticeable.
