Yeah, but if the battery test says its ok, they probably wont want to honour the warranty.

Are there any conditions where a battery test will say a battery is ok when it is not? Something I can use to get them to honour the warranty.

I'll probably replace the sucker anyway. Anyone got any recommendations? I'm prepared to spend up to $150 for a half decent battery.

I just put in a brand new battery today. Hopefully this fixes the problem, but if it doesnt, does anyone know a good subaru experienced mobile auto electrician?

Tenagah recommended a place in Malaga to me once, its next to the petrol station across the road from Maccas. They were very professional. Cant remember if they had a mobile van or not.

My battery test said it was okay and just needed a charge, don't know where I put the warranty though...The new battery has gone for a couple weeks no problem. Hope the new battery fixes your problem too.

Houston we have a problem...

Went to start my car this afternoon and it fires up but revs fluctuate and the car stalls. Worked fine when I drove home from work this morning. Have put in the brandt code and locked/ unlocked and left it for an hour but still the same problem. Fuel pump primes ok and battery is charged, it starts but idles rough and shuts off. Could this be a brandt problem or something worse?
