Well i was just sitting there. And white smoke started comming out the zorst.
And it smelt like burning rubber lol.
now its still smoking, not as bad but still is,

Still boosting, though only tried softly and once. I eased it home.

Any ideas first thoughts what it could be.. ?

Was your car facing downhill?
Can be a build up of water in the exhaust which evaporates / steams when the exhaust heats up, creating white smoke.
Just read that it's still smoking though, so maybe not...

Dropping car in monday to get turbo taken out and checked.

Choice of either rebuild that one
or put new one in

vf series.. Any sudgestions.

Yeah any ideas what i should be expecting to pay for VF34 I know labor is about $500ish.

Im thinking no point putting td04 back in with all the effort and money to take other one out and quicker turn around ill put in vf34

for a decent second hand one your looking at $700-800

he said top dollar would be $1500, but hasnt got an exact price

im hoping for somthing like $1200 ish. if second hand is $800 prob better buying new yeah ?

you should prob get one for 1100 or 1200 brand new if ya want i could install 250.

Hey mate thanks for the offer. I will be dropping car off to get old one taken out and checked so gonna be easier for them to just drop new one in.

Just have to decide weather to rebuild or vf34 wont know anythign till they pull mine out.

I mean on way home tonight from work car didnt smoke at all.. so really not sure whats going on..

vf 34 are good got one myself but you'll need a tune .
