I cant see how that is 10hp more then stock.. a stock WRX is making 130kw@wheels...

03 Sti, full 3" system, filter + tune...
03 Sti, full 3" system, filter,tomei turbo + tune...
Thats how you do a back to back, Not i picked 80kw with the turbo oh yeh i fitted an exhaust and got it tuned at the same time

u put any mods on a car with out the retune or even a basic ECU u will never make the potential power.. 02 WRX are perfect example.. i put a FMIC from APS, VF34, Injectors, Exhaust made 94kw@wheels...soon as i put the UNICHIP on jumped 80kw@wheels. cars are not meant to have just bolt ons and no ECU changes. thats common sence...

the Tomei is pretty much a TD05-20G with a bit more work done to it..
GTPUMPS GTPS02 are making 220kw@wheels on Rollar not HUBs

That is really an oxymoron, is it not? A stock car with a re-tune...I think Troy means a totally stock car mate...

EDIT: You are correct about the power, as mine is making around 200kw...

i think your missing the point.

he is talking about turbo's and you are talking about ecu's. if you have no back to back dyno sheets to prove tomei turbo's can make more power with less lag then dont continue to argue.

i agree with sean in saying a higher hp rated turbo will introduce more lag.

That is true
but not as much as some make out to be.. differnece between High HP turbos these days and stock turbos (eg STI ) isnt that big a difference like the old days...

Much of a muchness, but if the price is all same, go for the FP.
Hi guys,
GTpumps turbos are fully assembled and balanced in Australia and we use parts from various suppliers including Mitsubishi. Forced Peformance, Blouch/Deadbolt do the same thing. For example we use upgraded thrust bearing system in our 20G turbos because the Mitsubishi bearing is not up to the job. All the turbo suppliers use various parts whatever is the best for the job.

Also we are not just "box unpackers" like the vast majority of turbo vendors in Australia. We offer full local warranty/service and also do rebuilds.
